Hummus

Hey! Isn't Hummus one of those healthy, vegetarian, tree hugger, hippie foods? No it isn't! I was really hesitant to try it because I don't really consider myself to be any of those things, but boy am I glad I did! I haven't really explored all of the avenues of Hummus yet, but I can tell you the ones I like. It's great with corn chips, quesodillas, & pita bread. My favorite kind is from Costco. It's just under $5 for almost two pounds and worth every penny. You may be thinking to yourself, "Why not make your own? The ingredients are cheap and easy to find. This is a RECIPE blog after all." It's because I have tried several times to make it and it NEVER tastes as good. So if you're feeling a little adventurous, you should definitely give this one a try. You'll never go back to salsa again. Well, maybe that's a little extreme, but it's definitely a great alternative!

Cindy, you ought to try hummus with salsa. I like to serve it in a bowl with salsa on top with chips, etc. Yummy.

BTW, I really like this blog!

wow, I am not really good at trying new things! I need to be better! I have a hard time just with classics that are made by strangers lol! I should try it, and now that we have a costco membership I can!! Love you guys!
