Tom Yum Goong

Hot and sour Thai soup... I LOVE it!

When Bryan first introduced me to Thai food I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. After hesitantly trying it I LOVE IT! I have since learned to make two dishes. Yellow Curry & Tom Yum Goong. I would love to learn to make Pad Thai. Here is my Tom Yum Goong recipe.
6 Cups Water
4 T. Tom Yum Paste (click here to buy some)
3 tsp. Salt
2 T. Lime Juice
1 Small Onion
1 Can Straw Mushrooms (found in the Asian food section)
½ Cup Baby Corn +/-
I Tomato cubed (optional)

Thawed Shrimp with tails off
Garnish with Cilantro

Bring water to a boil. Add all ingredients except shrimp and cilantro and bring back to a boil. Add shrimp just before you serve & serve over rice. Garnish with Cilantro. Yummy!!

(adding the shrimp too early will make them tough)
