Earthquake Cake

This is a recipe that Ann gave me way back when that Jean Christiansen gave her back when she and Klint first got married. It is easy & delicious & you can see why it's called an Earthquake Cake. You have got to try it. Ingrediant Line up

1 chocolate cake mix (prepared according to package directions)
Nuts - I like walnuts or pecans

Coconut

Sprinkle nuts and coconut on the bottom of 9x13 cake pan (as much as you like), pour cake batter over nuts and coconut. Do not cook cake yet! Prepare Icing.

Cream Cheese Icing
1/2 pkg. Cream Cheese (reduced fat tastes just as good as regular)
1/2 Cube of Butter
1/2 - 3/4 lb. Powdered Sugar
Vanilla

Cream butter & cream cheese together then add powdered sugar & a bloop of vanilla. Mix it until smooth, thick, and creamy (The frosting should be nice and thick or the cake will not turn out right). Use a tablespoon to dalup frosting on top of uncooked cake batter. (Usually about 12 big dalups) Bake in 350* oven for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. This is soooo yummy especially if you like German Chocolate.
